The Big Muddy Folk Festival this weekend in Boonville
Don’t have anything fun to do this weekend? Try the Big Muddy Folk Festival in Boonville, Missouri. Boonville is an old river town with lots of history. I received this information from Jeannie Pascal a local artist. Thanks Jeannie.

A lot of music workshops are being held in the downtown area in various locations around Thespian Hall which is on Main Street. At Turner Hall, which is on Vine Street across from Thespian Hall, the Big Muddy BBQ will go from Friday afternoon until Saturday night.
The Hotel Frederick, just a few blocks away at 501 East High has an art show in the lobby and gift shop opening this Friday. It will run through the month of April.
A new art gallery will be opening its doors this Thursday at the Zuzak Building at 311 Main (between Spring and Morgan Streets). The hours will be 10 – 6 Thursday – Saturday and 1 -5 on Sunday afternoons. In addition to paintings, you will find ceramics, some jewelry, fiber arts etc.
Then there is always the Isle of Capri Casino.
A personal note: As most of you know, I must keep blogging because my son gave me this web design for Christmas and he checks to see if new posts are showing up. This isn’t about sewing but I don’t think he will notice.
Happy Blogging
